EliteSingles fills a gap in the UK’s online dating landscape: a dedicated website for sophisticated people who are looking for a long-term relationship with like-minded individuals. We were a little hesitant when we were approached by EliteSingles to test their service’s because of the slightly controversial nature of their branding. However, this hesitation was not necessary: EliteSingles is an absolute premium product and as such one of the few really dedicated to the UK market. It is part of Europe’s largest matchmaking service eDarling which explains the high quality of the product.
The users were not a dreary collection of Oxford educated students and Cambridge lecturers. Far from it. The people I met on site were down to earth and only differentiated themselves by having ambition and a desire for something more.
And? Is it “Elite”? Well, I do not know what this word means to you, but 3 hours after registering I was in touch with 1 Director, 1 HR manager and a lovely lady philosopher. The education level of users I met on the site is extremely high and thus the service keeps its promise: dating for sophisticated singles.
Usability and Safety:

Elite Singles Prices
3 Months: £49.95 (Total £149.85)
6 months: £29.95 (Total £179.70)
12 Months: £27.95 (Total £335.40)
From a usability perspective the site is the best we have tested in a while. Really easy on-boarding, clear and stylish design and a very well thought-through, linear set-up of your profile page. The site has gone through two re-designs since I have signed up, which means that far from being a finished product, They are still investing resources into making it better. Always a nice thing to see.
